Channing Tatum may have been nervous before guest hosting last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, but he certainly didn’t seem it.
Jimmy Kimmel has selected several guest hosts to fill in for him this week as he recovers from a cold and prepares for his son’s postponed heart surgery, including Shaquille O’Neal, Dave Grohl and Jennifer Lawrence, but it’s been Channing Tatum so far that has taken the ball and run with it. Or should be say danced with it?
As the show started Tatum is seen sitting at his desk, and then backstage confessing to guest Ellen DeGeneres how nervous he was feeling. DeGeneres gave him one piece of advice that he took to heart though, “No one’s gonna care about what you say, especially after you dance.”
Cue C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” and Tatum is off. Dancing through his makeup and wardrobe sessions, and even while taking a bathroom break. From there he danced right onto the stage, complete with a group of backup dancers, and even Pink.
Tatum may not have been the best guest host of all time, but he certainly did a good job keeping it interesting. The Magic Mike star put his gifts on display, and had everyone talking. And after you are finished watching the video below, you will want to check out his Halloween prank on his daughter as well. Including his apology to her afterwards.
