A mysterious eye makeup product might be the next blessing from our beauty savior Pat McGrath
Pat McGrath has mastered the art of the tease. Before her launch of Metalmorphosis, she teased the a three part collection with images from the Versace runway. (We were convinced a gloss was on the way, which is just a testament to Pat’s teasing capabilities.)
It’s that time of year again and the legendary makeup artist is teasing another release on the Versace and Prada runways. Pat teased behind-the-scenes images featuring exaggerated cat eyes and electric blue shadow looks.
As expected, Pat hasn’t released any details apart from her signature tag, “something is coming.” Until we get the official scoop, we’ll be relying on years of deductive reasoning learned from Law Order reruns.

With Pat McGrath Labs, nothing is ever what it seems. We’re willing to bet this is more than just another black shadow. Is that just a brush or an applicator?
In some images, the shadow looks dewier than others. Could it be a formula that goes on creamy and dries to a powdery finish? Or is the shine we see a layer of glitter applied over the shadow? We know how much Pat loves a good glitter.
???More hints and actually that might be the first L?K of @patmcgrathreal NEW Product!! ??An eyeshadow stick ?!?! It looks creamy with a matte finish…my guess it dries, so it’s a longwear and smudge proof…so far we saw two shades: Black and Blue. In one of the looks the blue had some sparkle on top, maybe Pat is creating a kit with an eyeshadow stick + a sparkly matching powder?!?! #ComingSoon *we will confirm and update more details soon ??✨ Thoughts? #Trendmood #patmcgrath #makeupobsessed #makeupart #bblogger #makeupoftheday #motd #eyes #blue #glitter #nyfw #cosmetics #new #fashion #makeupoftheday THANK U for this fabulous update!!! @k.ristyne ??

Pat McGrath Labs releases usually come in a series. Since we know that black and blue are on the menu, we’re curious as to what other colors could be included.

Before launching Metalmorphosis, Pat changed her Instagram to an entirely gilded theme that mimicked the collection. Looking at her feed now, we’re guessing that the upcoming release will feature primary colors.
