According to TMZ, Blac Chyna has her sights on rap stardom. Yes, you heard that correctly. The model-turned-reality television star is hoping to join the likes of Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, Rhapsody and Dej Loaf.
However, while the ladies mentioned above are known for spitting tough rhymes, sources close to Chyna shared that she wants to make “poetry music” paired with traditional singing. Several record labels have also shown interest in helping propel Chyna into a rap star, including Capitol Records, which is home to urban acts like Kevin Hart’s “Chocolate Droppa” persona, Chaz French, Riche Homie Quan and Grammy-award winners like Mary J. Blige and Robert Glasper. HipHopDX also confirmed the 29-year-old has met with executives at the label.

Apparently, the catalyst to further pursue this dream was Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up” music video featuring Nicki Minaj where Chyna filmed a cameo with the Queens MC.
Chyna has also been busy posting photos of herself at music studios so it looks as if she’s really committed to giving the rap game a go.
