Cancer-Stricken Girl Receives Best News EVER, In Time For Christmas

Seven-year-old Hayley Brown from Australia has had a long and hard battle with cancer. But just days before Christmas, Hayley and her family received amazing news.

According to News.com.au, Hayley’s father Andrew said she’s now cancer-free – and he’s very happy because of it. Andrew made the announcement by posting the following picture on Facebook.

“The picture on the left is today,” said Andrew. “The picture on the right is 6 months ago. The red x on the June picture is on a big gray area. That is the tumor. The red x on today’s scan is on black which is how an empty nasal cavity is supposed to look.”

He continued, “Well done Hayley you little Warrior Princess, you rock. Now on to 12 months maintenance while you continue to kick cancer in the d*ck.”

The family is still waiting on the official report to be 100% certain Hayley is cancer free but for now, they anticipate she won’t be needing the intense treatments she’s endured over the past six months.

News.com.au reports she’ll be starting maintenance treatment at the end of January, which will involve her taking some medication and visiting the hospital occasionally – without staying overnight.

“She’s said ‘yay’ a few times,” said Andrew. “She’s happy it’s gone.”

Doctors first diagnosed Hayley with cancer in June of this year.

Just a few months later, her story made headlines when Andrew posted the following touching photograph. It shows how Hayley’s grueling treatment left her with just one eyelash.

At the time, Andrew said, “the hardest thing is seeing her now after being so full of life.”

That photograph made serious waves online. It wasn’t long before people around the world began making an effort to help out. Even celebrities joined in.

About a month ago, the Daily Mail reported that Brown’s family had received over AUD $12,000 to help cover costs associated with Hayley’s treatment.
