Eva Marcille Explains Why Kevin McCall Isn’t Allowed Around Their Daughter Marley: “He’s Not In A Safe Space For Himself Or Others”

Former America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille didn’t hold anything back when she was asked about her co-parenting progress with ex Kevin McCall. Let’s just say that things are in the same place they’ve always been between these two…in a bad place.
As Eva Marcille continues to make the press rounds promoting the new season of the Bravo hit reality series Real Housewives of Atlanta, to which she was just promoted to full-time cast member, she recently stopped by to chat with talk show host Wendy Williams. While on The Wendy Show the conversation naturally turned to the never-ending drama between Marcille and the father of her daughter Marley, songwriter/producer Kevin McCall.

To put it mildly, the co-parenting relationship between the former couple is non-existent according to Marcille, because she describes McCall’s actions as “extremely dysfunctional behavior and he’s not in a safe space for himself or others.” She also explained that despite McCall being the biological father of Marley, her new husband Michael is actually Marley’s dad. She stated, “Marley knows her Dad. He picks her up from school, he gives her her life lessons, that’s her Dad.”
However, despite Marcille and McCall not being on good terms right now, when asked by Wendy Williams what he could do to come back into his daughter’s life Marcille said that “he should have to go to the courts and talk mediation.” She added that she doesn’t see it happening anytime soon because he is too selfish to truly be the parent that her daughter needs.
Life seems to be good for Marcille these days, as she just had her first child, a baby boy, with her new husband, is now a full-time cast member on one of the most popular reality shows on TV and appears to be in a much better place than she was years ago when she was with McCall.
