Who can keep up with Apollo and Phaedra these days. One minute, she claims they’re officially divorced. The next, he announces that he’s found a new lady and then he files for divorce. Now, sources are claiming that there’s a new development with the couple who seems to be taking forever to part ways.
According to The Daily Mail, Phaedra initially filed for divorce in March. Apollo failed to sign the papers and a judge granted it to her in November. As a part of the settlement, Phaedra was ordered to pay $100,000 toward Apollo’s criminal restitution fee. The judge awarded primary custody of their two sons but said Apollo would be awarded visitation when he was released from prison.
But last month, Apollo filed divorce documents of his own and claimed he was notified about the final divorce hearing. He’s accusing Phaedra of taking advantage of his imprisonment and demanding that the divorce judgement be voided.
He’s requesting joint legal custody of the couple’s sons and equitable property split of the 4,220 square foot Georgia mansion, which Phaedra purchased for $845,000 in 2013.
It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out.
