Dallas TV traffic reporter Demetria Obilor was recently body shamed for being “too big” for TV and many came to her defense, including rapper Chance the Rapper.  Now, Gabrielle Union is also sticking up for her and even gifting her with looks from her New York Company line.

The Being Mary Jane actress headed to her Instagram to show Ms. Oblior love and said she is actually the ‘Real Mary Jane.”

“[You’re] a go-getter news anchor who dresses DOPE and doesn’t give a s*** what everyone else thinks,” she wrote. “Since you slay everything you wear, I’m sending you a bunch of pieces from my [New York and Company] collection and some credit for extra pieces!”

Ms. Obilor made the news when a woman named Jan Shedd body shamed her via a now deleted Facebook post that said the traffic reporter is a “size 16/18 woman in a size 6 dress and looks ridiculous.”

#TrafficBae recently clapped back at the body shamers via an IG video post .

“A quick word to those people: this is the way that I’m built, this is the way I was born, I’m not going anywhere, so if you don’t like it you have your options.”
