Gigi Hadid Fights Off Male Attacker After Leaving Max Mara Show In Milan

Gigi Hadid got up close and personal with a male stranger on Wednesday after leaving the Max Mara show in Milan, and she proved to him, and the world, that she’s definitely not a damsel in distress.

While not all the details have been released as of yet, it appears that as Hadid was leaving the Max Mara show and heading towards her car with her sister, a young man somehow managed to get through the throng of paprazzi, fans and Hadid’s security team to grab her from behind. His arm circled her waist, and he lifted her in the air while groping her from behind. Hadid managed to free herself from him though by kicking him and elbowing him to the head.

Hadid was shaken but unscathed by the event, but was said to have had words with her security team afterwards. While she hasn’t released any official statement, Hadid did take to Twitter to say “The ACTUAL fans that were there can tell you what happened. I’m a HUMAN BEING —and had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho.”

The attacker has been identified as Vitalii Sediuk, the same man who famously found his way onto other red carpets, including kissing Will Smith, attacking Brad and Angelina, and nuzzling Leo. In 2013 he even tried rushing the stage during the Grammy Awards.
