“Grow The F–k Up”: Michael B. Jordan Is Not Here For Rumors About His Sexuality
What were you doing with your free time during the Christmas holiday? Resting? Playing board games? Catching up with your relatives? Watching your favorite shows?
Well, Michael B. Jordan was using his spare time to respond to rumors about his sexuality on social media.
I personally don’t know how long such rumors have been floating around, but a conversation started brewing earlier this year when Jordan and frequent collaborator Ryan Coogler took this picture together for Vanity Fair:

Beautiful, right? Well, people had quite a bit to say about it. Some called the image effeminate while others saw it as a simple display of brotherhood. Neither man responded to the commentary about the image.
However, TheJasmineBrand captured images of messages posted on Instagram from a guy slandering Jordan’s name, and they were pretty ugly. The man, who was claiming to have had sexual relations with Jordan, was even bold enough to include the actor’s Instagram handle to get his attention.
Jordan decided to respond to the graphic comments on Snapchat and basically told those spreading and believing them to “Grow the f–k up.”
“Yeah, I usually don’t comment creep but, you know, s–t, today I got time,” he said. “So look, whoever’s angry, bitter, upset for whatever reason, grow the f–k up. ‘Cause karma’s real. I usually take the high road. I usually don’t say s–t, I just let it roll because people are going to be people. Everybody got they opinion. That’s what the Internet’s for. They going to say whatever. Don’t even gotta be true.”
Jordan would have a change of heart midway through his light rant, saying that on a day like Christmas, he along with everyone else needed to stay focused on the bigger picture.
“Ya’ll don’t need to hear me ranting about some BS,” he said. “So enjoy your family, enjoy your blessings, enjoy the people you hold close. Cherish that. I think that’s more important than some comment.”
Check out his thoughts on the rumors about him below and let us know if responding to them hurt or helped the actor:
