It’s Lit: Issa Rae And 16 Other Black People Who Secured Golden Globe Noms
While the Academy Awards have been in the doghouse with people as of late due to a lack of diversity in terms of their nominees (remember #Oscarssowhite?), the Golden Globes is different. A whole host of talented parties racked up noms in a wide variety of categories. Because we’re always wondering how Black folks fare with awards shows these days, here is a list of all the Black women and men in the running for a Golden Globe when the 74th show airs on Sunday, January 18 on NBC.
