With Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William currently on Canadian soil for their Royal Visit 2016, the royal couple has officially been making stops in British Columbia. Last night, the duo attended a reception held at the Government House in Victoria.
Staying true to her glamorous reputation, the 34-year-old Duchess (who is often referred to by her maiden name, Kate Middleton) stepped out in a brilliant red Preen frock. Her demure yet perfectly stylish dress featured a pleated midi hem, thick shoulder straps and a waist-cinching cut. Meanwhile, an asymmetrical neckline and subtle ruching brought visual interest to the design.
The Duchess accessorized the stunning scarlet creation with an embellished silver brooch in the shape of a maple leaf. For a finishing touch, Catherine’s ladylike red suede pumps and red metallic box clutch coordinated effortlessly with the mid-length dress.
We are certainly loving the rich red hue of the frock, which flatters the Duchess’ brunette locks and creamy complexion. The silver maple leaf pin also lends a patriotic finish to her overall outfit, which is perfectly fitting for her official Canadian visit.
