Reality star Kim Kardashian caught some flack from the internets after she clapped back at Tyson Beckford’s critique of her body.
Despite being accused of homophobia, the entrepreneur stands by her decision to call the model “sis.”
In a radio interview with Big Boy, the mom of three still sounds hurt by the interaction.
“Really dude? You’re gonna body-shame me? Like, okay. Okay, sis,” she said, referring to Beckford’s criticism of her physique.
Big Boy asked her if the star regretted her response.
“No. When I choose to clapback, it’s like I don’t do it to people I know are just looking for the come-up and just looking to clout chase. That is the most annoying thing,” she explained.
Kim also denied claims of homophobia after members of the LGBT community and allies criticized her comment, with detractors believing her use of “sis” implied being gay was something to be ashamed.
“For anyone to say that I am homophobic for the comment and for saying ‘sis’? Like, I’m the LEAST homophobic. All my best friends are gay. I support the community, I love the community, they love me. That has nothing to do with this.”
In the same interview, Kim reveals her oldest child North recently asked her why she was famous.
