Listen To Lady Gaga’s New Single The Cure

Lady Gaga may not have been the original headliner at Coachella week one, but she certainly stepped up to the task and made the crowd forget Beyoncé was supposed to be there. Not only did she perform 19 songs during her 90 minute set, but she also debuted a new single.

Beyoncé has to postpone her Coachella appearance this year due to her pregnancy, and Lady Gaga was given a month and a half to prepare to step in. It ewas the first time a female artist headlined the event since Björk did so in 2007. The tens of thousands of people who were head Gaga state “I have been through so much in my life and I’ve seen so much, and you cure me every time with your love” before bursting into her new song The Cure.

Gaga, who also was the main attraction at the Superbowl halftime show earlier this year, started her show at 11:30 pm with a video montage, followed by her opening number. About part way through her set she sang The Cure, which contains “If I can’t find the cure, I’ll / I’ll fix you with my love / No matter what you know, I’ll / I’ll fix you with my love,” as the chorus. You can take a listen to it below.

Lady Gaga’s latest album is Joanne, and it was released in October of last year.
