If you haven’t heard, Lifetime is working on a movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and from the looks of the casting choices the couple’s story is in good hands. The network just announced it has chosen Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser to play the lead roles in Harry Meghan: A Royal Romance.

You can see the striking resemblance between Fitz-Henley and Markle, who are both biracial, in the photo above. Fitz-Henley, 40, was born in Kingston Jamaica to a white mother and a Black father and, like 36-year-old Markle, didn’t always see other families who looked like hers.

“My mother is White, my father is Black. Growing up, I never saw interracial relationships,” she told the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder last fall. “I didn’t even get to see my own parents together (they divorced when she was very young), so I was always super-excited when I saw an interracial family anywhere. So to be on a show where interracial relationships are the norm, is incredible to me.”

The show Fitz-Henley was referencing was NBC’s Midnight Texas, though you may also recognize her from the role of Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

A Royal Romance is set to begin filming in Vancouver this week and, according to Deadline, “The film will examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.”

Fitz-Henley shared her excitement over landing the role on Instagram early this afternoon.

Psyched we can finally share! So happy to be doing this project w/ #MurrayFraser ? (we gotta get this dude on IG asap!) and @lifetimetv! ?
