As if she didn’t already have a great deal on her plate these days, Teyana Taylor has yet another job to put on her resume.
According to a press release from BET, the network is bringing back VH1 hit show Hit The Floor, and Taylor is joining the cast.
A few original members from the cast are returning to the show, including Kimberly Elise, Dean Cain, and McKinley Freeman (who played Derek). However, stars like Taylour Paige (Ahsha) and Logan Browning (Jelena) won’t be returning. The latter has found fame as the star of the hit Netflix series, Dear White People.
Taylor will join the series, which is set to begin principal photography in November and will premiere on BET in 2018. According to the press release, the show “returns with more scandal, sex, secrets, intrigue and jaw-dropping dance routines.”
A starring role on the show is just one of many opportunities Taylor has been racking up as of late. Literally, news surfaces every week of the 26-year-old signing on for another gig. Don’t believe me? Check out a few of the many jobs she’s obtained recently.
