Rapper Nicki Minaj is ready to take off her pink wig and put down the mic for good. The Queens native took to Twitter today to tell her millions of fans that she was retiring from rap to focus on starting a family.

“I’ve decided to retire have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, X in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE,” she said.

“I have to work on my album and I have a lot to focus on that I don’t want to do the big wedding now. We’ll do the big wedding later. I’ll be married before my album comes out, but will have my wedding after the album comes out. Before the 90 days is over, yes, I will be married,” she said on air.

And it seems now Nicki has made a drastic move to make her dream a reality.

Just days before her big retirement announcement, Nicki took to Twitter to tell women not to settle in unhealthy relationships.

“I rlly used to think love had to hurt. So I could never look down on anyone else. We are merely human. It’s not easy to leave. Especially in the world of IG where all ppl want to do is post relationship goal pics for clout attention. A man should make you feel safe, not afraid,” she told her millions of followers just a few days ago.

Hopefully she finds happiness in her next life stage.
