The doors are closing on former ‘RHOA’ star Peter Thomas‘ Charlotte, North Carolina sports bar, TMZ reports.

According to records obtained by the site, Thomas’s ‘One Bar And Lounge’ will be shut down after it was hit with a tax lien of over a quarter of a million dollars. The $237,000 debt accumulated after Thomas reportedly used a lot of his financial capital to fund other projects. He subsequently fell behind on his taxes. TMZ says the bar will close for the next 3 to 6 months until the former reality star hubby and his team can cough up the paper.

This is the latest in a string of financial and legal woes from Thomas. Back in March he was arrested in Miami for allegedly writing a $4,000 check that bounced.

He spent six days in jail after his arrest. His attorney, Keith Doley, told E! news at the time, “It was an unfortunate misunderstanding. There was no intent on Mr. Thomas’ part to not pay,” Continuing, “There was a misunderstanding about a performance that didn’t happen. It’s all been resolved.”

His ex wife, Cynthia Bailey, spoke to Andy Cohen about the incident on ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ after his arrest. “Peter and I are no longer together. Of course, I never want to see anything bad happen to him,” Cynthia shared at the time.

“So I hope that that situation resolves itself, and I wish him well.”

Cynthia has of course moved on, recently engaged to sportscaster Mike Hill.

Thomas took to Instagram to share his sentiments about his bar’s future, saying, “Hard work never stop over here, got to get these people their money, The shuffle hustle is real. @sportsoneclt @cluboneclt@baronemiamibeach.”

Hopefully Peter gets his life and finances together soon.
