See Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson And More On The Sing Red Carpet At TIFF 2016
Yesterday TIFF 2016 presented the world premiere of the upcoming animated film Sing, and to help celebrate the launch, several of the stars of the film, including Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey walked the red carpet alongside the director Garth Jennings. Real Style was there to capture the excitement, and to find out what they thought of their work.
During the introduction of the film, director Garth Jennings made it clear to the crowd that the film was not entirely finished yet. He advised them some scenes may not look as sharp as they would in the final product. He also said that whoever was sitting beside his mother in the crowd would have to handle her excitement, and that he would be in for an awkward drive back to the hotel if his wife didn’t like the film. He was also very talkative on the red carpet, telling us how the whole idea for the movie came about over a cup of tea.
Scarlett Johansson by now is an old pro at doing voice over work, something she discussed on the red carpet. From doing animated films and tv shows in the past, to her voice over work in the film HER, Johansson knows a thing or two about bringing characters to life just by using her voice. Nick Kroll also took the time to discuss how he feels the movies is for all types of audiences, and how he believes it is a perfect fit for TIFF.
You can watch our video below.
TIFF continues until September 18th.
