Shearling Is A Sure Thing For Fall 2018
Although shearling might seem dated, it’s back in a major way for Fall 2018 and has been making its grand re-entrance as a must-have for the season’s outerwear trends. If you want to bundle up for the fall temperatures, you may want to consider shearling jackets and coats as a must-have option. We’ve curated a couple ways to rock this outerwear trend, as spotted on the season’s catwalks.
Tod’s
At Tod’s, the gorgeous Gigi Hadid marched down the catwalk wearing a multicoloured beige, brown and ivory shearling coat. The combination of neutral tones, the loose fit and the soft, fuzzy texture created a chic, wearable look. Meanwhile, this versatile fall topper was paired with shiny black trousers, shearling booties and a brown leather satchel.
Bally
Meanwhile, a funky aesthetic was clearly on display at Bally, where a mid-length, colourblocked shearling coat made its grand entrance. Paired with high-waisted dark grey trousers, a waist-defining black leather belt and a simple blouse, the colours in this three-quarter-length coat truly stood out. If you want to experiment and take a step away from traditional brown and white outerwear, then the navy blue and red tones might be an appropriate look for you.
