One of the ways Tamia and Grant Hill have been able to keep their marriage fresh for 17 years and counting is by making time and taking time to perform some of their favorite songs together in the privacy of what we’re sure is a sprawling home. We all know that Tamia is quite the talented singer, but how many of you remembered that Grant Hill isn’t too shabby on the keys?
He’s actually been saying since his early NBA days that he plays the piano. Hill revealed in the book Grant Hill: Superstar Forward that he started taking piano lessons when he was nine but let the instrument fall by the wayside once he got to high school. (According to him, “It wasn’t cool to take lessons. I had to be cool. But I wish I had stuck with it.”) But if you loved Living Single as much as we did, then you probably remember the episode where he played for Kadijah during a date on the basketball court, dusting off his skills.
With that being said, he’s spent his retirement years playing alongside his wife, and we forgot that he’s pretty good. The couple sang Rihanna’s “Stay” together, and not only was it adorable, but the video has a comical ending:

It’s not the first time the two have sung together in front of the cameras. While they haven’t jumped on anybody’s stage (just yet) they also filmed themselves doing a cover of Frank Ocean’s hit, “Thinkin Bout You” in 2013.
Moments like these are just one reason they’re one of our absolute favorite couples. #LifeGoals
