Tamron Hall is under fire after she reportedly admitted to ‘facilitating the sell of cocaine’ during a taping of the Tamron Hall Show, People reports.

The segment was removed from the show before it could air, but now Hall is denying the claims and clarifying her past.

“During an interview with Prison Rights Advocate Topeka Sam, I shared a story about a bad situation I got myself into when I was 19. I never dealt drugs,” said Hall.

“I am now nearly 50 years old and was reflecting on a bad judgement call that could have turned worse,” the mom of one explained, “I say but for the grace of God, there go I.”

While the statements may have shocked some of Hall’s fans, the broadcast maven always intended for her show to touch pressing topics.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping earlier this year, Hall explained she wanted her show to be relevant and hard-hitting.

“When people talk about it now and are [like], ‘Would you ever?’ it’s like ‘Have you ever watched Phil Donahue, Oprah Winfrey, Mike Douglas?’ I point to television history to say, please Google any talk show lineup. It’s not an elimination of anything.”

Adding, “We can have a segment on any given day in the culture of what you and I would be talking about with our friends … You guys got married? Oh, y’all broke up? What are the tips? Multi-million dollar companies are built on love, so let’s talk about it.”
