Say what you will about men wearing makeup — and the conspiracy theory to feminize Black men — Terry Crews is about that cosmetics life for one reason and one reason only: to look better

The actor was a guest on Conan last night and during his appearance he started spilling all of his beauty secrets, starting with the fact that he’s been covering up his gray facial hair.

“I started to do a little color on my beard,” Terry said. “It was getting gray — I’ll be 50 this year, 50. But I like it, I like getting older. But there was just this one little white line, like a skunk face,” he shared.

Terry’s been covering up some other lines as well, as he later revealed, and not just when he’s on set.

“I do do a little makeup. I’m wearing makeup now because, you know, TV and the whole thing,” he confessed. But when asked by Conan why he needs makeup (because, apparently, he’s seen him barefaced and his skin is flawless), Terry said, “It can always be better, man! I go to Sephora and I’m like, I need that little…because you get little marks and little things. I’m pushing my wife out the mirror, like, I’m sorry I need a little color, I just need a little color.”
