We’re in the season of reboots and remakes. Anything that made money in the past, they’re hoping will translate to box office numbers and money in the present. Since Men In Black has been box office gold since it was first released in 1997, it only makes sense that they would try to do it again.
According to Shadow And Act, Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth will costar in the new Men In Black spinoff.
The film will be the second time these two have worked together as they starred in Thor: Ragnarok.
The film, which is still untitled, will be directed by F. Gary Gray. It will be released through Sony with a projected date of May 17, 2019.
Neither Will Smith nor Tommy Lee Jones are set to reprise their roles in the sci-fi film.
The film will be produced by Walter F. Parkes, Laurie MacDonald. Steven Spielberg will serve as the executive producer. Matt Holloway and Art Marcum will write the project.
See what folks have to say about the new announcement.
