The New 2018 Way To Rock The Midi Skirt
If you’re wondering how to switch up your style for Winter 2018, you may want to swap your trousers for a mid-length skirt. Although the midi skirt first made an appearance on the catwalks last season, they are making a return to the wardrobes of fashionistas everywhere. We’ve curated a few must-have ways to wear this trend, as inspired by the runways.
Dior
At Dior, the midi skirt received a serious update, in the form of a frilly blue calf-length creation. Paired with a navy blue knit sweater which features a cowl neck and long sleeves, the outfit was both feminine and versatile. Meanwhile, a black leather beret and black suede ankle boots pulled the entire look together in a couple of easy steps.
Valentino
Valentino jumped into the trend in the form of a white frock with a mid-length skirt, which featured sheer panels and car wash pleats. With a matching furry white jacket, a beaded red necklace and a pair of brown leather lace-up boots, the entire outfit seems incredibly chic and wearable.
Carolina Herrera
If you are looking for business chic style, try taking your sartorial cues from Carolina Herrera. We are liking this calf-length black lace skirt, which pairs with a crisp white button-down blouse and a preppy black ribbon tie. Styled with black opaque tights and strappy black heels, this black and white outfit certainly fits the bill.
