Tiffany Haddish has stolen our hearts and apparently, it’s her time to shine, shine, shine. In addition to her scene-stealing success on Girls Trip to her upcoming comedy special on Showtime, Haddish is also working on a new movie project with fellow comedian Kevin Hart.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Night School is a comedy set to be released through Universal.
Will Packer, the man behind Girls Trip and Think Like a Man will produce along with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions. The film follows a group of “misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in a long-shot chance they’ll pass the GED exam.”
Packer is teaming back up with Malcom D. Lee (Girls Trip, The Best Man) who will direct. The concept was written by Hart and his comedic writing parties Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Collard, and additional work by Nick Stroller.
The film is set to be released on September 28, 2018.
Sounds like it could be great.
