Two years ago Tom Hardy made, and lost a bet with his The Revenant co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, and it finally looks like he’s honoured it.
Hardy was seen sporting a new tattoo after a picture was shared on an Instagram fan page. The tattoo on his right bicep appears to say “Leo Knows All”, which in itself is pretty hilarious. In case you weren’t aware, back in 2016 DiCaprio bet Hardy that the Mad Max star would be nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role in The Revenant. The 40-year-old Hardy disagreed, so a bet was made that whoever lost, would have to get a tattoo of the winner’s choice. As time would soon tell, Hardy lost when he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. He revealed later on that DiCaprio has written down the words ‘Leo knows everything’ for the tattoo, but until now it didn’t look like the actor was going to get it. It looks like he is a man of his word after all.
DiCaprio ended up winning his first Oscar that year, and avoided what could have been an embarrassing tattoo, while Hardy lost the bet, and the statue to Mark Rylance of Bridge of Spies.
