It’s been nearly two years since Miami rapper Trina stepped into the spotlight with an album stacked with raw bars, but she’s back.
After joining forces with Rico Love on her single “F*ck Boy,” the self-proclaimed Diamond Princess surprised all with a brand new surprise EP, Dynasty 6, for her 38th birthday during an Art Basel party.
“I’m just excited to have the EP and the fans don’t expect it to be happening,” the rapper told VIBE. “It’s my way of introducing new music to them. With Art Basel, there’s so many people in Miami for art, fashion, and music. It’s fun. It’s energetic. It’s the new wave, and I’m just excited for all that.”
Trina also made an announcement that her next album is slated for a 2017 release, adding, “There’s no features, just me. I just want it to serve as an introduction to the album, and it’s something for the fans to be excited about.”
