Tyra Banks Applies Makeup to Carson Kressley in ‘The New Celebrity Apprentice’ Premiere Sneak Peek
Don’t blush! Tyra Banks applies makeup to Carson Kressley on The New Celebrity Apprentice‘s Monday, January 2, premiere, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The NBC competition series is led by new host Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the preview clip shows Banks offering her expertise for selling a makeup line. (The America’s Next Top Model producer will be a boardroom adviser this season, joining Schwarzenegger’s nephew, entertainment attorney Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger.)
“Tyra’s saying this is such an easy product to use, and it’ll make everyone look great in five minutes,” Kressley tells the camera. He adds about his own face: “I’m like, ‘Use this canvas. If you can make this beautiful, you can do anything.'”
The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy alum, 47, is on a roll when he pitches his tagline to Banks: “You came, you saw, you contoured.” Needless to say, Banks, 43, loves the catchphrase.
Boy George reveals that applying makeup is old hat to him. “When I was a punk, I first discovered David Bowie and glam rock and makeup. I used to do all the makeup with my hands, so it really, really did speak to me.”
Later, Kressley appears to be blown away when NFL legend Eric Dickerson is willing to help out with his visage. “How about Eric Dickerson applying a slightly pouty lip color to these pillowy numbers?” Kressley quips. “His touch was amazing.”
The New Celebrity Apprentice premieres on NBC Monday, January 2, at 8 p.m. ET.
