While Tyrese continues to deal with the stress of his custody battle with ex-wife Norma Gibson over daughter Shayla, it seems that his current wife is preparing to bring another child into the world for the singer — her first. Or at least, that’s what Tyrese says.

In the flurry of messages and videos Tyrese has posted over the last few weeks to social media, you’ve likely started to tune out, so it makes sense that we all overlooked this announcement. The 38-year-old took to Facebook to share a video of himself putting on lace-less Chuck Taylors to wear to court in “silent protest” of all the men “who didn’t have the money to have better representation for their case and accusations.” In the caption of the somewhat odd clip, Tyrese states that Samantha Lee Gibson is pregnant, and asks the famous women he’s supported in the past to support her as she takes over president of his Love Circle Foundation. The organization “creates mentorship and exposure opportunities that embolden young men and women of color to dream beyond their current reality and become better versions of themselves.” He asked for support for her in the same way he asked for support for himself from his own “millionaire and billionaire friends” in that video of him in tears, and in the process, shared news that she is pregnant. He also made some interesting statements about how that support will help them stay married:
