Reality star Kandi Burruss recently celebrated her daughter Riley’s sweet 16 by buying her a pricey gift.
Business savvy Kandi went all out for her first child, making sure her first vehicle was a $100,000 Porsche. It’s a hefty price tag, but her money, her rules, her child, right?
Well Twitter had another opinion. The Xscape star’s name was trending on Twitter after a Radar Online report came out saying she made the large purchase without her husband, Todd Tucker’s consent.
“Todd was livid Kandi bought Riley such an expensive car and they had a huge fight,” a source told the site.
“Todd told Kandi she’s spoiling Riley and preferred she get a Honda Civic as her first car. Kandi basically told Todd to mind his own damn business and that it’s her own money that she’s using to spoil her daughter,” the insider continued.
The anonymous source also added that Kandi often reminds Todd of the power dynamics of the family.
“Kandi’s always reminding Todd that she’s the boss of the family because she has all that money,” the source claimed. “That irritates the hell out of Todd and is the catalyst for many of their fights.”
