Watch The New Fifty Shades Darker Trailer Here
Fans of The Bachelor were given a treat last night when a new trailer for the upcoming sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, premiered during the season premiere of The Bachelor.
The trailer is set to the recently unveiled track I Don’t Wanna Live Forever by Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, and it certainly fits the mood of the preview. In it kinky billionaire Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan) tries to convince his love interest Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) to accept his bouquet of roses because he wants her back. Without much convincing she accepts. Soon the trailer heads in the direction you’d expect, with plenty of sex and innuendo, not to mention teasing (in an elevator surrounding by other people nonetheless). After the playing is done however, the trailer starts to get a bit darker, introducing Grey’s long time friend Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger) and a previous, jealous lover who can’t understand what Anastasia has that she doesn’t. Anastasia is told that her boyfriend has a reputation, and the trailer ends with the ominous words that “Every fairy tale has a dark side.”.
Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters Feb. 10, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
